A vast reservoir of information on human health and behavior lives in our sewage.
During my stay at Senseable City Lab, MIT I was part of the Underworlds project. This project is an attempt to monitor health data with the sewage network of cities. We partnered we the Alm lab (biology lab at MIT) to analyze the data collected.
My job was first to help build the robot that will collect the sample for us. With Pietro Leoni we design the robot and his electric board. Later I developed an app to control a previous robot.
Then the last part of my job was to build a data visualization to help the biologist to understand the data we collected and share the lab work to the public.
